The process that you have chosen requires you to introduce a verification step in your copying activity. You will need to ensure that every page that is generated as a copy (e.g. a photocopy, a scanned digital copy, or a printed copy from an electronic original) is checked against the original document to confirm that every page has been copied, that the quality of copy is acceptable, and that the copy is complete and accurate.
After each and every verification check, you will need to capture a dated signature of the person who completed the verification check. The dated signature must be retained for as long as the copy is retained. The signature may be captured as a wet-ink signature or as an electronic signature.
